Information for Prospective Members
Fees, timetables, and the training location are all clearly shown on the relevant tabs.
You can arrange to trial the class through the facebook page.
- You MUST complete the Minimum Waiver form (Resources page) - the insurance company is not flexible on this, sorry.
- You do not need to purchase a uniform or any equipment for the introductory program.
- Wear normal sportswear with a top that can be grabbed and stretched - a plain cheap t-shirt is best.
- Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
- For the most part, training is done in bare feet as shoes ruin the mats.
- For the safety of yourself and others, ensure nails are trimmed, loose or hookable jewelry is removed, hands feet and face are clean and health & personal hygiene is appropriate for working in close proximity to others (this applies COVID19 or otherwise).
- Ideally, familiarise yourself with the information on the 'Self-Defence' tab.
- The 'Fundamentals of Self-Defence' presentation is available for free under the resources tab - this information is part of the introductory course but is made available for anyone (age restricted due to the use of real footage).
